Location: DMV, New Jersey, New York, or Atlanta Areas
Duration: 9 Months | Commitment: 8-10 Hours Per Week

This internship provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in coordinating and facilitating a workforce development program. You’ll work closely with a dynamic team to drive initiatives that support career readiness, skill development, and community engagement.
What You Can Expect:
This 9-month virtual internship will provide you with practical experience in program coordination, community outreach, and workforce development. You will:
- Assist in the planning and execution of workforce development initiatives and events.
- Coordinate schedules, logistics, and resources for program sessions, workshops, and training events.
- Support communication efforts with program participants, trainers, and stakeholders.
- Track program progress, collect feedback, and assist in reporting outcomes.
- Learn best practices in workforce development, program evaluation, and participant engagement.
- Build a professional portfolio showcasing your program coordination and community impact efforts.
- Participate in in-person networking and professional events in your region (DMV, NJ, NY, or Atlanta).
- While this is an unpaid internship, a stipend will be provided upon successful completion of the program.

Responsibilities:
As a Program Coordinator Intern, you will:
- Assist in planning and coordinating workforce development training sessions, workshops, and events.
- Communicate with participants, instructors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth program operations.
- Track and manage participant progress, including attendance, assessments, and feedback.
- Collect and analyze data to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in developing and distributing program materials and resources.
- Support outreach efforts, including recruitment and engagement of new participants.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement strategies for program growth and success.
- Maintain program documentation and ensure all materials are up-to-date and accessible.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Interest in workforce development, career coaching, or community engagement.
- Experience in program coordination or event management is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent software; familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
